We are looking for 15 highly skilled welders to start working in Alberta province, Canada as soon as possible.

This job consists of a day and night shift from 8:00 to 18:00

•  Salary 43.97$ per hour for 40 hours per week

This job opportunity has an Industrial work setting, the worksite environment can be a confined space, Outdoors; At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot. the types of materials you'll be dealing with are titanium and special alloys, Stainless steel, Nickel alloys.

The financial benefits will be as per the collective agreement.

Education:

Other trades certificate or diploma

Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.) :

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate; Pressure Welding Certification; Welder Trade Red Seal Certificate; Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.

Languages: English

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years

Specific Skills: Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment; Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment; Interpret welding process specifications; Determine weldability of materials; Operate oxygen arc-cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC)

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Arc welding machine

Additional Skills: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes; Instruct apprentices; Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications

Area of Specialization: Pressure vessels; Large diameter pipelines

Welding Techniques: Flux core arc welding (FCAW); Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG); Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW); Gas metal arc welding (GMAW)

Security and Safety: Drug test; Criminal record check; Basic security clearance

Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license
