Job Description:

We are looking for 10 highly skilled Construction Carpenters to start working as soon as possible in Ontario, Canada.

This job consists of a Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning

  •  Salary $41.91 hourly for 40 to 60 hours per week.

 

Qualifications:

Languages

English

Education

Other trades certificate or diploma

Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.)

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate; Confined Space Entry Training; Carpenter Red Seal Certificate; Carpenter Trade Certification; Fall Arrest Protection Training Course; Working at heights training; Workplace Safety and Insurance Board(WSIB) clearance Certificate; Personal protective equipment (PPE) training

Experience

Experience an asset

Requirements:

 

Specific Skills

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings and hardware; Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools; Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements; Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials; Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems; Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
